Making the decision to challenge the issues that keep you from living your life to its full potential is one of the most courageous acts you can do for yourself. However, taking those first steps towards your personal journey can be an overwhelming process all on your own.

Through a trauma informed, integrative approach, I will support and encourage you to connect with your own inner resources and help you to develop more insight into the patterns and processes that may be holding you back from making the changes you desire.

“The fact that you are struggling does not make you a burden. It does not make you unlovable or undeserving of care. It makes you human. Everyone struggles. We all fall apart. During these times, we are not always easy to be around and that’s okay. No one is easy to be around 100% of the time. The truth is..you can still be struggling and still be loved. You can be be less than perfect and still be deserving of love and compassion.”

“I was amazed at how much compassion Shelly had for me considering how much I was resisting to change. I was terrified to face those issues – but knew I had to. Shelly provided me with exactly what I needed to help me move forward. Her ability to ‘ride it through with me’ has left a long lasting impact on my heart and mind and I continue to draw upon the strong connection that we shared to this day”

“We met this woman, only by chance. My 20 year old son was living in P.E.I at the time with his family living in another province. My son was experiencing issues with drugs and mental health and we were desperate to find him some help as we were unable to get to him due to living in a different location. So I Googled counsellors and came upon what we consider our “Angel”.
Shelly began working with him as well as our whole family during this very difficult time. She worked with our son, but also worked with us via Skype and phone. My son eventually had to leave PEI to enter rehab for his challenges and during the entire two months he was gone, she maintained constant contact with us, checking in on our son’s progress and working with the family for the duration of his stay. She guided, counselled and gave us strength throughout this whole journey. My son is out of recovery now, and Shelly continues to play a VITAL role with his transition back to society and helping him work towards living a healthy and happy life.
To say Shelly has been a Godsend is an understatement. If you are in need of support and you get the chance to work with Shelly, it will be a true blessing for you.
Thank you for being our rock Shelly” !!
